CBS has revealed the identities of 16 of the 18 Castaways competing on Survivor: Redemption Island. Thw two currently not revealed have been named by CBS.com as "Former Castaway 1" and "Former Castaway 2." Most blogger and Spoiler watchers have already speculated that the Two returning will be "Boston Rob" Mariano and Russell Hantz, each who have played the game more than once.
This season was filmed in Nicaragua back to back with the previous Season of Survivor last Summer and the castaways have been spoiled by TrueDorkTimes and other Survivor Spoiler sites over the past Few months.
The major Twist this season comes in the Form of Redemption Island. Once you are voted out, you aren't out of the game. Instead you head to Redemption Island, where you wait for another Castaway to be Voted out. You then Duel for a Chance ot remain in the game.

- Ashley Underwood: a 25-Year-Old Nurse and former beauty queen from Benton, Maine
- Francesca Hogi: a 36-Year-Old Attorney from Washington, DC
- Grant Mattos: a 29-Year-Old Yoga Instructor and former NFL Football player from West Hollywood, California
- Kristina Kell: a 41-Year-Old Law Student from Malibu, California
- Matt Elrod: a 22-Year-Old Pre-Med Student from Nashville, Tennessee
- Natalie Tenerelli: a 19-Year-Old Professional Dancer from Acton, California
- Phillip Sheppard: a 52-Year-Old Technology Executive from Santa Monica, California
Zapatera Tribe
- David Murphy: a 31-Year-Old Defense Attorney from West Hollywood, California
- Julie Wolfe: a 50-Year-Old newly divorced Firefighter and mother of Two from Oceanside, California
- Krista Klumpp: a 25-Year-Old Pharmaceutical Rep from Columbia, South Carolina
- Mike Chiesl: a 31-Year-Old former Marine from Del Mar, California
- Raplh Kiser: a 45-Year-Old Farmer from Lebanon, Virginia
- Sarita White: a 36-Year-Old Visuel Effects Producer from Santa Monica, California
- Stephanie Valencia: a 26-Year-Old Waitress from Long Beach, California
- Steve Wright: a 51-Year-Old former NFL Player from Huntington Beach, California
